This book action was carried out in the Botanic Gardens of Valencia as part of the War Memorial series of performance-installations, and commemorated extinct species. Four sacred spaces were created by the transgender shaman Geyserbird to represent the four cardinal points on the compass and the continents of the world with the fifth continent- America- being evoked symbolically as the underworld. The latin names of extinct species from each of the continents were inscribed within the pages of an altered volume of a children´s encyclopedia (Tierras y Pueblos - Lands and Peoples) which was used throughout the performance and its preparation. A constantly evolving litany based on these names was sung over a period of 3 hours by the shaman who was tied to a tree in one of the circles. This litany also included references to those who have drowned in the Mediterranean trying to reach Europe in the recent wave of migrations from Africa.

Este libro-acción se llevó a cabo como parte de la serie de performance instalaciones War Memorial (Monumento a lxs Caidxs) en los Jardines Botánicos de Valencia y conmemoró especies extintas. Cuatro espacios sagrados fueron creados por el chamán transgénero Geyserbird para representar los cuatro puntos cardinales en la brújula y los continentes del mundo con el quinto continente, América, evocado simbólicamente como el inframundo. Los nombres en latino de especies extintas de cada uno de los continentes se inscribieron en las páginas de un volumen alterado de una enciclopedia infantil ( Tierras y Pueblos ) que se usó a lo largo de la performance y sus preparativo. El chamán, atado a un árbol en uno de los círculos, cantó una letanía basada en estos nombres que evolucionaba constantemente durante un período de 3 horas. Esta letanía también incluyó referencias a aquellos que se han ahogado en el Mediterráneo tratando de llegar a Europa en la reciente ola de migraciones desde África.
